Merch
The goal of merch is to take lifestyle brand to the next level.
For the Weekend Warriors and Armchair Athletes
The merch focuses more on Fighting Game culture and not fighting games. It promotes the OG Life and is a way for anybody (not just the OGs of the FGC) to show how they feel about living the OG Life. The merch pushes the mission (to prioritize the OG Life in all of us) forward in a tangible way.
About the Merch
Merch should promote Fighting Game and OG Culture.

Designs
The designs are commentary on the OG Life and how we can all relate.

Text over Image
Most designs feature copy heavy designs. The content should be created and ownable by the OGFC. We use images and fighting game IPs sparingly.

Drops
The merch will drop in seasons similar to gaming DLCs. Each season will have theme and each piece of merch will be inspired by that theme.
Brand Standards

1. Visual Identity & Logo Usage
- Primary Logo: The "go-to" for t-shirts and hoodies.
- Secondary/Simplified Logo: For small-scale items like pens or tags where detail might be lost.
- The "Safe Zone": Always maintain a clear space around the logo equal to the height of the "Lettering" to prevent it from looking crowded by seams or pockets.
- Minimum Size:
- Screen Print: No smaller than 1 inch wide.
- Embroidery: No smaller than 2 inches wide (to ensure thread legibility).

Color Palette (Pantones)
Most designs feature copy heavy designs. The content should be created and ownable by the OGFC. We use images and fighting game IPs sparingly.

- Left Chest: 3.5 to 4 inches wide. Centered between the placket and the side seam.
Headwear:
- Center Front: Max height 2.25 inches to avoid the "crown" seam.

Material & Quality Standards
Approved Fabrics: 100% Organic Cotton or 80/20 Cotton-Poly blends.
Print Method Preferences:
- Screen Printing: Preferred for high volume (limit to 3 colors).
- Direct-to-Garment (DTG): Use for complex, multi-color illustrations.
- Embroidery: Reserved for headwear, outerwear, and "Premium" drops.

The "Don'ts"
AppNo Stretching: Never pull the logo to fit a weird space; scale it proportionally.
No Clashing: Never place the Electric Blue logo on a Red garment.
- No Low-Res: Never use .JPG or .PNG files for production. Use .AI, .EPS, or .SVG only.
Be the club.
